Save the date for Trek! Mark your calendars as registration for this event will open on May 12!

Trek is our middle school camp for students who have completed grades 6-8 by June 2021. This life-changing and fun-filled week is the perfect opportunity for students to grow in their faith and walk in community. It's a great place to make new friends and strengthen relationships through Groups. Trek will be held at Highland Lakes Camp right outside of Austin, Texas! Spots are limited so sign up early!

What can my student expect at Trek?

Every student needs time away from everyday distractions to focus on growing their relationship with God and their peers. A typical day at Trek will consist of intentional Group time, rec, breakouts, worship + teaching, snack shack hangout, late-night fun, and free time. Students can participate in many activities at camp for FREE including swimming pool time, gaga ball, basketball, 9-square, volleyball, and more. There are some additional activity passes that can be purchased.

What do I need to know about Trek that is different this year?

We will only have ONE SESSION of Trek. Space is limited, so make sure you register as soon as possible!

Should my student bring extra money?

Registration costs include all meals and housing. Your student doesn’t need to bring any extra money to have a great time! There are plenty of free activities to keep them engaged and having fun. However, most students bring some extra money to purchase T-shirts, snacks, activity passes, and for our missions offering at the end of camp.

What COVID precautions will be in place at camp?

We will continue to monitor the COVID pandemic closely and will give more information on the necessary safety precautions as we get closer to the event.

I’m in! What happens next?

REGISTER fast because spaces are limited. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email about your next step, including info about an important parent meeting. A comprehensive packing list will be included in our parent packet sent out the week of camp.

I'm interested in going as a leader! What do I do next?

If you are not currently serving in student ministry and are interested in going to Trek as a leader, please reach out to your student pastor or email us at studentministry@lakepointe.church for more information!

**Don't forget to order your care package for $25 when you register for Trek! The care package will include: a backpack, sunglasses, water bottle, sticker, and fan as well as snacks and candy!
